Martin von Willebrand has a versatile experience on domestic and international assignments in technology, such as licensing, transfer of rights, buying and selling firms, negotiations, protection of IPRs and knowledge, product development questions, open source and copyright questions. Further he advises many companies in their general business law needs.

His positions of trust include the Finnish IT Law Association (Secretary 2006-2008, Chairman 2009-2010), Chairman of Validos (2008-), Member of the Steering Group of the Finnish Center for Open Souce Solutions (2008-) and Acting Director of Inventors' Factory Association (2010-). He has authored a book on setting up an Internet-store and is co-author in a book titled Verkkokauppaoikeus, i.e. E-Commerce Law; he is editor at IFOSSLR. For example Practical Law Company, Best Lawyers, Who's Who Legal and many other publications rate him among top technology practioners in Finland.

Prior to joining HH Partners in 2001, he worked as an associate at Heikki Haapaniemi Attorneys-at-law Ltd in 2000 and before that in contract handling at Radiolinja Oy, the first GSM-operator in the world.
