Toni Päärni

Toni Päärni advises domestic and international companies with M&A, corporate restructurings, and technology law matters. As strategic counsel to both buyers and sellers, he ensures that cross-border transactions, mergers, and financing arrangements are executed smoothly and efficiently. In addition, he has experience handling insolvency assignments.

Toni is known for his pragmatic approach to corporate governance and commercial contracts. Within technology law, he has specialized expertise in open technologies and open-source software licensing.

Demonstrating an innovative approach, Toni also served as the project manager for our firm’s Double Open research project that explored how open source compliance solutions can be implemented in an open and automated way. The Project led to the founding of a new technology company. He was appointed as a partner in our firm in 2026.
