Together with HH Partners, Double Open and guest speakers from Nokia, Ericsson and the OpenChain Project, IPR University Center launches a new three-part webinar series on open source as a strategic asset for organizations.
Open source is no longer just a licensing question. It affects how organizations build software, how quickly they can adopt AI, and how well they respond to new regulation such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and to a changing geopolitical landscape.
The series will give you an overview of
- how to recognize your organization’s stage of open source maturity, and what it means for software development and AI adoption,
- how AI, regulation and geopolitics are changing the strategic case for open source,
- how OpenChain and its ISO/IEC 5230 and ISO/IEC 18974 standards help large organizations and their suppliers manage open source,
- how patents and open source contributions interact, and how to manage the related risks, and
- how to turn overlapping requirements from regulation (CRA, NIS2, DORA), standards, contracts and internal policies into simple, workable controls supported by tooling and AI workflows.
The webinars build on each other, but each one also stands on its own. You can join a single session or the whole series.
The webinars are hosted by Martin von Willebrand, Senior Advisor at HH Partners and CEO of Double Open, and Mikko Murto, Partner at HH Partners, Attorneys-at-law.
All seminars are online and free of charge.
