Unfair Business Practices

The use of another’s trademark, design or product appearance in a derogatory context or imitation is a breach of good business practice. Misleading and untruthful marketing is also unfair business practice. Similarly, obtaining, using and publishing trade secrets and other information covered by a non-disclosure agreement – for example, technical drawings – of another company is considered to be unfair business practice or otherwise unlawful conduct.

Our experts advise our clients on matters relating to unfair business practices and assist in proceedings before the Board of Business Practice and the Market Court.
