Taina Tuohino is a partner at HH Partners who practices corporate and commercial law on a wide array of issues with a special emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. Taina has negotiated and implemented asset and share purchase transactions, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and other commercial arrangements. Taina’s practice also encompasses Internet and e-commerce related matters, such as privacy law, consumer law and online liability issues. She has advised several clients in establishing webshops, developing and providing online services and managing data privacy policies.

Taina acts as counsel particularly to clients in the information technology, consumer goods and services, pharmaceutical and shipbuilding industries.

Taina has written articles and lectured on mergers and acquisitions, contract law and on e-commerce related issues. Taina is a member of the Fair Play Group of the Finnish Direct Marketing Association.

Prior to joining HH Partners in 2001 Taina worked at Heikki Haapaniemi Attorneys-at-law Ltd as an associate in 1991 - 1993 and as a partner in 1994 - 2000. Prior to entering private practise, Taina has worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, as well as a circuit court judge, as a refendary at a court of appeals and as a lawyer at the Consumer Ombudsman's Office.
